My latest original material recorded in 2017 and released in early 2018. ‘Bad Man’ was No 1 worldwide in Hotdisc Charts for 3 weeks and UK/Irish charts for 9 weeks. ‘A Brand New Beginning’ was No 3 worldwide chart for 2 weeks and number 2 for 3 weeks in UK/Irish chart.

Clive John Singer Songwriter Country Music The Spirit Album

The Spirit (2010)

Recorded in May 2010 and has been the bestselling album to date. The title song won an award as best song of the year at the 2011 British Country Music Awards and the album was nominated as best album. The Spirit’ was recorded with the members of the Johnny Cash Roadshow band and is really a bench mark album in my career and the first time I was actually internationally recognised for my own material.

Recorded in 2005 this album was inspired by my Irish roots a mix of self-penned and some of the Irish country music I remember from my childhood.

Purple Sky (2001)

Written during my time in the USA. The title song written on Rockaway beach in Long Island one Sunday afternoon in June 2000. A later version of Purple Sky was recorded later in 2010 for ‘The Spirit’ album.
